Mitchell Cornish taught his first Industrial Hygiene class for ECT in 1994, after 2 years of work in environmental abatement. A California Certified Asbestos Consultant and a CDPH Lead Project Monitor & Supervisior since 2000, Mitchell has conducted more than 5,000 Asbestos inspections and a similar number of mold inspections throughout California, Oregon and Nevada, for clients in the water restoration, Asbestos abatement, mold remediation, property management, and residential & commercial real estate industries. His experience includes Expert Witness Testimony and working with all of the major property loss insurance carriers in California. While working for training organizations from California to Louisiana, he has taught: Asbestos Lead, hazard awareness, HAZMAT, NIOSH inspection methods, mold awareness and remediation.
