Walter Amenta, CIH, MS, is a Certified Industrial Hygienist who started his career in health and safety as a Navy Corpsman in 1972. After attending to the medical needs of sailors and Marines, "Doc" Amenta worked his way through Palomar College, San Francisco State University, and San Diego State University and graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees in both chemistry and biology. He received his Master of Science from SDSU in 1987. Walter started Environmental Compliance Training in 1993, became a Certified Asbestos Consultant in 1997 and was awarded his Certified Industrial Hygienist in 2002 and was cofounder of ECT Environmental, Inc. in 2003.
